The Job:

• Develop the right brand strategy and the corresponding marketing strategy for all new and existing products within the organization.
• Lead the planning and implementation of those marketing strategies ensuring it is in line with the brand strategy.
• Develop and implement marketing plans, including campaigns/promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions, launches and other marketing projects
• Set up and oversee annual marketing budgets.
• Conduct market research and continually keep abreast of changes in trends and competitor activities in the market, measuring the effectiveness of the marketing plans and adjusting them where necessary
• Lead and provide stewardship to the various teams within marketing such as CRM, Paid Performance Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Content and Marketing Communications which includes Social Media and Community Marketing and Business Intelligence
• Work closely with the Sales team to enable them to function effectively

• Minimum 10 years of marketing experience (preferably in Software as a Service (SaaS)/apps/software products/tech/ecommerce environment).
• Have a clear overview of the new age marketing spectrum, with proven knowledge and application of a wide range of global marketing concepts and techniques.
• Self-starter with a competitive nature and desire to make things happen.
• Adaptable and able to respond quickly in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead members of the department.
• Strategic but don’t mind getting hands-on when the situation demands.
• Innovative, solution-focused and makes sound decisions that balances between risk and progress.
• Able to travel as and when required.
