Job Description

Help build and lead a best in class sales team for the market leading, aviation logistics service provider.

YOUR ROLE

Responsible for managing regional strategies & sales team, vendor management team, relationships and agreements in Asia Pacific region.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and recommend policies and programs, which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation with new directive for growth
  • Develop specific sales strategies on a regional level and follow execution
  • Communicates with customers at a senior/executive level to assess overall level of satisfaction and also deals with critical situations with accounts at risk
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and regional strategies
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Maintains High customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
  • Attend customer functions/events in an effort to secure positive relations with customers
  • Responsible for regional annual budgets, planning, growth and forecasts
  • Manages the APAC sales & customer service team
  • Manages the APAC network management
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace and provides reports, on a regular basis
  • Must be willing to travel as necessary
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key airport and aviation clients in the region
  • Makes customers, both internal and external, a primary focus of attention
  • Builds and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring the necessary resources are directed to meet customer needs and solutions on a global basis

  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to prepare and present reports

  • Full understanding of International & domestic airline routings, logistics, geography and time zones
  • Full understanding of the company's products, services, mission an goals
  • Familiarity with the aspects of ISO and the Quick International Courier Quality Manual
  • Computer proficiency (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to get along with co-workers and management in order to maintain a professional work environment
  • Strong team player
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule (extended hours of evenings, weekends and holidays as required
  • Ideally based in HKG, PEK or SIN
  • Familiarity of International competitive landscape
  • A full understanding of the commercial, business jet, MRO and OEM's sectors of aerospace
  • Strong Experience with NFO services in logistics profession, either in a transportation Co. or as a customer
  • Import/Export experience within aerospace sector, within China/Asia consider a +
  • The employee is required to communicate with corporate management, employees & clients continuously via telephone and computer
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; balance and stoop
  • The employee is required to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to view computer monitors both at close range and distance
  • 10+ years of strong background in Aerospace industry
  • 7+ years experience in a field sales environment
  • 3 years experience in Asia marketing aerospace in the respective countries
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive Customer Service experience required
  • Group Leadership skills
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Good/Restricted Article Regulations preferred
