This means investing in talent, technologies, and tools that empower you to own your career.Join MUFG, where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded.Purpose of the Role:This is a regional product manager position which will support the Head of Department (Trade and Supply Chain Finance Product, APAC) principally along two lines of responsibility (Product Management and Business Management) as the Subject Matter Expert for the following product suite:Documentary Trade \xe2\x80\x93 primary and secondary market productsSustainable Trade Financing productsProprietary and third-party channels, technology, and platforms supporting Documentary Trade products.Job ResponsibilitiesProduct ManagementLead New Product/Product Variation/One-off Deals Assessments for Singapore branch.Manage functional stakeholders at HQ, Regionally and In-Country;Strong acumen in developing product schematics;Analyse end-to-end transactional workflow to ensure processes are streamlined and efficient andEnsure that product is developed in line with all relevant Bank policies.Support local Product Managers in APAC branches (outside Singapore branch) for New Product/Product Variation/One-off Deals Assessments to ensure consistency in our product offering regionally.Provide thought leadership for the development and promotion of new product capabilities to:- Improve operational efficiencies;- Reduce Operational Risks;- Provide new revenue streams and- Enhance MUFG\xe2\x80\x99s global reputation in the Transaction Banking spaceBusiness ManagementProvide support to the Head of Department on the following managerial activities:Responsible for assisting to set the strategic direction and drive the initiation, development, implementation, and management of the suite of products that you are in-charge of.Manage and keep track of periodic product performance metrics and other product MIS across APAC:Revenue tracking of recently commercialized productsProvide analysis and conduct remediation of non-performing productsConduct product profitability and RORA analysisBecome the centre of expertise on product mapping and profitability performance.Articulate and translate complex ideas into compelling graphics for presentationsConduct product/market gap analysis: Synthesise client and market input to assess market opportunities and assess/prioritise associated gaps to close through product development.Job RequirementsBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business, Finance or related fieldsMinimum 6 years \xe2\x80\x98experience in Transaction Banking specifically in Documentary TradeExperience working directly dealing with Transaction Banking business in China.Strong background in MISExceptional analytical abilities to interpret voluminous data and deciphering the findings in clear written papers, verbal presentations and visuals.Very strong competencies in:Excel \xe2\x80\x93 especially related to building models for break-even model analysis, monthly product performance reporting, etcPPT: translate complex scenarios into first class presentationsAdministrative experience is desirable \xe2\x80\x93 must be highly organized and able to adhere to deadlinesStrong work ethic and with the ability to multi-taskAbility to use creativity for problem solving.Thrive in fast-paced working environment while being meticulousMUFG Bank Ltd & MUFG Securities Asia Limited (collectively referred to as \xe2\x80\x9cMUFG\xe2\x80\x9d) is an equal opportunity employer.
