About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

The System Analyst is a member of the Shared Platforms Technology team supporting HR Applications and Systems. The role is to deliver technology solutions through projects and change requests in Human Resources domain.

He or she is expected to work effectively with across other teams and departments, and external vendors to achieve above through following:
- Ensure all aspects of business requirements are understood and defined;
- Perform impact analysis of the requirements, coordinate and work with other teams and vendors to estimate effort and costs;
- Manage the functional specifications, design, build, test and deploy the solutions in accordance with specifications.

He or she will be the subject matter expert (SME), and provide associated support, for the team\'s suite of HR applications, for example Workday HCM, SuccessFactors Recruitment and Learning, SAP HR.

  • Consult with users to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, functional requirements, business/operational processes, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
  • Manage among end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other IT teams in the feasibility assessment, analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of the existing or new systems to achieve optimal operational performance and quality.
  • Track and fully document changes for functional and business specifications; write detailed universally understood processes/steps/requirements for use in training.
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes, user interface, functionality through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
  • Work with multiple teams including vendors to analyse requirements, perform impact analysis for enhancements.
  • Anticipate, analyse, address and resolve any functional or non-functional issues or risks either independently or together with the relevant stakeholders and propose alternative solutions as necessary, with consideration of timeline.
  • Estimate cost, and prepare business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, development and support.
Job Requirements

The right candidate must possess the following:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in computer science/engineering. Diploma with relevant job experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Working experience: At least 12 years in HR technology delivery roles within software delivery life cycle
  • Hands-on experience delivering Workday integration configurations for example Core Connector/PECI/WECI/PIFCOF, EIB, RaaS, Workday Studio
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills to manage functional and technical stakeholders across multiple business units
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Domain expertise and good technology knowledge in the areas of Human Resources and related
  • Good understanding and experience in various DevOps / software management tools, for example Confluence, JIRA, BitBucket, Jenkins.
