: Your background

  • Management of Command Center Mainframe and iSeries first level operations function, inclusive support for the operating system, core infrastructure and batch/applications, as well as outage window coordination.
  • Management of the service strategy, service controls and risk portfolio, book-of-work and reporting.
  • Establishment of goals, triggers and limits, as well as, monitoring of service performance & risk tolerances.
  • Driving of improvement activities across all aspects of people, process and technology to ensure integration of continuously leaning and enhancement methodologies.
  • Oversight and continual development and of the global team, including direct management of U.S. based team.
  • Liaise and partner with key senior leaders, infrastructure operations groups, application production services teams, accountable process functions to integrate all mainframe functions.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; must be able to appropriately convey ideas, concerns, and opinions across differing levels of management

What you can expect The Mainframe/iSeries/Batch Manager is responsible for the operations, first level response and application / batch support for the Mainframe and iSeries platforms. This position operates as a trusted Command Center leader to key partners across technology and business areas. The role requires the management of strategy, delivery and performance targets as well as the oversight of the service Book-of-Work and risk portfolio. The leader in this position will be expected to formally engage senior leaders and executives across the firm to maintain ongoing focus on management, reporting & analytics for the service. What you will do
  • Manage a portion of the Mainframe iSeries and Batch team in Singapore. Providing functional and team leadership.
  • Provide coaching for both performance and development to your direct reports.
  • Make critical decisions based on established procedures to ensure system health and SLAs are met.
  • Provide performance reviews for your reports. Establishing measurable goals and having meaningful discussions.
