RESPONSIBILITIES Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice-President to lead a sales team and drive sales in the utility scale market. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of the utility scale market, including intensive know how about PV utility solutions, regulatory environment, market trends, customer needs and a strong network in solar industry, with experience working on large $ volume deals and closing them. Key responsibility shall be to build successful long-term relationships with large scale solar projects and contribute to REC\xe2\x80\x99s growth and generate revenue by selling REC modules in the utility scale market globally. Essential Duties:
Develop and implement a sales strategy for the utility scale market that supports revenue growth and achieves sales targets.
Build and manage a high-performance global utility scale sales team, including setting performance goals and objectives, and providing coaching and feedback to team members.
Build and maintain successful long-term relationships with large scale solar projects and key stakeholders in the utility sector.
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the utility industry, including market trends, regulatory environment, and customer needs.
Lead the development and execution of marketing programs to promote the company\'s products and services to the utility sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, technology and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Provide regular updates to CEO and senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity.
Analyze market data, develop and implement innovative sales strategies and processes that drive utility market penetration and growth with a strong emphasis on REC\xe2\x80\x99s USP.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Development: Developed module sales pipeline, typically with project developer globally, such as strategic EPC, IPP, national/international developers, Utilities and Gov\xe2\x80\x99t Agencies, solar integrator and etc.
Provide contacts of personal network within such targeted market and built sales relationship for REC
Built relationships with targeted accounts outside of existing network
Support targeted accounts in growing opportunities into projects and close them to REC\xe2\x80\x99s favor
Work collaboratively with REC\xe2\x80\x99s sales offices in all regions on utility projects.
Apply excellent market knowledge and account management skills necessary for dealing with specific, high-level target audiences, and knowledge of project development in a project finance environment.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the relevant business partners to ensure strategic advantage over the competition.
Pull in the resources to lead and prepare proposals and revise and negotiate the offers and contracts.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to the partners and / or customers at highest industry standards.
Respond promptly to customer needs and update management on customer service issues to improve service.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
More than 20+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on the utility sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of the utility industry, including the regulatory environment, market trends, and customer needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and manage a high-performance sales team.
Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ideally have strong network in solar industry and experience working on large $ volume deals and closing them.
Intensive know how about PV utility solutions including, project development, system design, finance, insurance.
Ability to work with alliance partners out of the PV technology segment beyond modules.
Professional knowledge about PV technology and system design.
Building long term relationships with targeted account.
Building significant pipeline of utility business opportunities for REC.
Closing deals / winning business / generating revenue.
