Located at The Bencoolen, Music Mood offers a wide range of cello programs, including the popular \'Cello Genesis\' beginner crash course, designed to give aspiring musicians a solid foundation in playing the cello. With a focus on personalized instruction, the academy provides students with free cello rentals to support their practice at home. Music Mood is dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of music by making learning accessible, engaging, and rewarding for all.We are seeking a creative and skilled Social Media Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing video content that highlights our lessons, student performances, and behind-the-scenes moments for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about music, storytelling, and delivering visually compelling content that resonates with our audience.Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form videos (15 seconds to 3 minutes) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Collaborate with our marketing and content teams to develop engaging video content that aligns with our brand and messaging.
• Add music, text overlays, graphics, transitions, and other effects to enhance the videos.
• Ensure videos are optimized for various social media platforms and formats.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and video editing techniques to create modern and dynamic content.
• Organize and manage video assets effectively for future use.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in video editing for social media (portfolio required).

• Familiarity with video formats and best practices for different social media platforms.
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and rhythm.
• Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Passion for music and creativity in showcasing it visually is a bonus.
