Our 4,100 R&I employees are talented and highly qualified, based worldwide in our key markets, collaborative, and open to the world.The Advanced Research team in Singapore is responsible for conducting upstream research within the scope of skin, hair and scalp. The team is involved in multi-disciplinary research across various fields and works very closely with global teams internally and with external partners possessing diverse research expertise. The goal is to identify innovative concepts and active ingredients for developing novel cosmetics, dermatology, and consumer care products. The candidate hired for this position will help to accelerate the transformation of selected projects in Singapore at the interface of cell biology and/or microbiome research.Targeted ProfileThe successful candidate should possess experience in managing experimental research within a laboratory setting and show a demonstrated interest in developing project management skills. The candidate is expected to be flexible in working within LOrxc3xa9al premises or at the external partner's site. Ability to manage complexities and work efficiently in a team-oriented and a multicultural environment is a must have for this position.The candidate is expected to be a team player with an active interest in carrying out inter-disciplinary research, particularly at the interface of clinical, instrumental, biochemical analysis, cell biology, and microbiology.Key Requirements:

• Strong academic credentials in biological or biochemical sciences.
• Have a training record in biological/biochemical analysis. Research experience in cell culture/aseptic techniques/microbiology is an advantage.
• Active interest in interdisciplinary research work and clinical evaluations.
• Ability to integrate different disciplines from in vitro to in vivo.
• Identify ways to improve methods and innovate methodologies to accomplish goals with experience and technical capability.
• Fluency in English
