Job Description
The Joint NTU-UBC Research Centre of Excellence in Active Living for the Elderly invites applications for the position of Visiting Principal Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction, leadership to centre’s excellence towards its vision and mission
- Provide scientific insight, strategic direction for research collaboration with industry partners.
- Plan, strategize and implement frameworks and processes to achieve the centre’s milestones and targets
- Lead research programmes for emerging technologies and talent development
- Provide mentoring, coaching and support to researchers and PhD students
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree from a world leading university, preferably in a field related to computer science/engineering, with at least 20 years’ experience in an educational and research environment.
- Strong leadership in managing research institute/centre
- Strong experience as subject matter expert in wireless communications, cellular systems, multihop mobile networks, blockchain, AIoT for health, ageing and smart Fintech, agriculture, etc.
