As a specialist in solution design, application architecture and platform architecture, you will apply your built up skills and experience with in leading-edge high-tech environments to establish a world best practice.The Big picture\xc2\xb7 Ensuring platforms are conforming to the Bank\'s architecture standards for new projects, ensure actual deployment conform to approved architecture application standards, and review changes risk for heighten application. This will be done through CBGT Design Authority review, Application Deployment Readiness review and weekly change review for heighten application.\xc2\xb7 Ensure standards and best practices are in place across the platform within Consumer Banking Technology and conform to Architecture Governance standards. Help the extended technology community to internalize and then adhere to these standards and best practices.\xc2\xb7 Promotion of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve productivity\xc2\xb7 Actively collaborate with the enterprise architects to ensure all work items do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies and roadmaps\xc2\xb7 Work with the platform engineers and enterprise architects to provide a consensus based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business need\xc2\xb7 Actively collaborate with the enterprise architects in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise\xc2\xb7 Be part of a team of architects and domain experts to provide fit for purpose solutions.Subject Matter Expertise\xc2\xb7 Able to work closely with the applications teams and other architects to drive high quality application development, raising the bar of engineering practices, and value adding to the technical delivery.\xc2\xb7 Survey market landscape for solution/application insights, direction, vendors, and methods\xc2\xb7 Provides expertise to identify and translate system requirements into software design artifacts\xc2\xb7 Speak at internal conferences and authorship internal in publicationsMethodology and Quality Assurance\xc2\xb7 Manage the risk across the platform IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.\xc2\xb7 Write, or direct the writing of white papers that add further insight and thought in the solution/application area.Requirements\xc2\xb7 At least 12 years of relevant experience in a complex enterprise environment.\xc2\xb7 Experience in banking technology preferred\xc2\xb7 Experience in design Cloud native, Event based and Microservice Architecture.\xc2\xb7 Deep End-to-End Enterprise Architecture understanding, including Enterprise Java Stack (JEE), JAVA spring boot, Rich UI and Front-End technologies (ReactJS, Kony, etc.), mobile applications (Android and iOS), Middleware technologies (Tibco, Solace, Kafka, Active MQ etc.), Mainframe technologies, Databases, Data Warehouses, and Core Banking solutions .\xc2\xb7 Experienced working in a cloud native work environment, spring cloud data, Spring Security, OAuth, service monitoring on cloud, PaaS environment such as Pivotal, Kubernetes.\xc2\xb7 Presence in open source projects will be huge plus\xc2\xb7 Experience with event based and microservice solutions developed in large cloud computing infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Azure Cloud, and/or Google Cloud\xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills including engaging senior management on strategic plans, leading project steering committees and status updates etc.\xc2\xb7 Experienced in Agile methodology.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and handle multiple concurrent initiatives.\xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational, vendor management, negotiation, and prioritization skills.\xc2\xb7 Excellent team player and strong interpersonal skills.\xc2\xb7 Proactive and able to work under pressure, strong problem-solving skills and positive \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude.Apply NowWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
