Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Develop the ecosystems to improve Site Reliability Engineering of Big Data Analytics Technology.

\xc2\xb7 Setup a centralized system to improve the reliability of the production\'s lifecycle including change management, troubleshooting, incident reaction, monitoring etc.

\xc2\xb7 Automate everything to remove the toil.

\xc2\xb7 Analyse patterns of production incidents, develop permanent remediation plans, and implement automation to prevent future incidents from occurring through software engineering.

\xc2\xb7 Work with partner organizations and vendors to provide the connection between vendor\'s and own products.

\xc2\xb7 Work with remote teams

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving software or systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience

\xc2\xb7 Strong experience programming in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, Javascript, Go, or C++,

\xc2\xb7 Strong experience writing networking applications.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with algorithms and data structures.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with large scale Infrastructure, distributed systems, and application performance.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in complexity analysis and software design.

\xc2\xb7 Hands-on technical experience.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.

\xc2\xb7 Effective communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Experience with programming in Shell, Javascript, Perl, or Groovy.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in continuous integration practices & tools (Jenkins, SonarScan, etc\xe2\x80\xa6)

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Java application servers and JVM configuration

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Kafka, YARN, Druid, Spark, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Zookeeper, Alluxio, Kubernetes, Ansible.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with monitoring solutions such as: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Linux systems internals

\xc2\xb7 Past experience as an SRE
