Responsibilities

• This new role provides fund selection and recommendations to support our Regional Consumer Banking Funds business. This coverage spans 7 locations (Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, India, Thailand).

• Responsible for the review of both traditional and alternative funds as well as ongoing support of funds for the Region.
• Provide the locations with fund recommendations, market intelligence, monitoring and model portfolios
• Provide investment advisory support as well as championing of fund products to Local Product Teams
• Work with both internal business units and external asset managers in delivering advisory communications and training.
• Drive regional funds initiatives and projects

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in fund product management, fund selection / due diligence for Mutual Funds
• CFA Charter holder certification or candidate is preferred
• An understanding of Hedge Funds and Private Markets will be advantageous
• Self-starter with strong motivation and initiative, strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Team player with the ability to work together with internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative manner
