Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flows, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Cash Management, together with Trade Finance, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.

In Cash & Trade, you will be part of the product management team that provides seamless and cost-effective solutions to customers. Whether it is through conducting market research, or by enhancing a product or system\'s features to meet customers\' needs, you will have every opportunity to shape the business. You will also be exposed to a myriad of Cash Management and Trade products through various product campaigns and closer engagement with our partners from sales and coverage teams.

As a Product Specialist, you will be part of the Product Development team which works on continuously developing and enhancing our Cash Management solutions across the group. You will be working in a highly dynamic and energetic environment that turns our product visions into reality.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities for innovative solutions through clear understanding of competitive landscape, emerging technological trends, and voice of customers.
• Takes end-to-end view across Acquire, Transact and Engage stages of customer business process lifecycle to ensure completeness of solutions.
• Works closely with product managers, channel managers and key partners from technology, operations and compliance, among others, to understand, review and convert high-level business requirements into concrete solutions for customers.
• Ensures scalability and reusability of all solutions to be developed.
• Documents business benefits and expected customer impact and ensures that these commitments are tracked when the project goes live.
• Applies Design for Data principles and ensures that data requirements are captured.
• Drive the end-to-end business project management which includes among others: creation and execution of project work plans, progress monitoring, updating of plans/timelines to meet the dynamic needs of our customers and/or partners, timely escalation, and resolution of issues.
• Supports product managers in coordinating project implementation activities (e.g. requirements gathering, analysis, testing, and production deployment) and sharing accountability for project delivery on-time and on-budget.
• Facilitates knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the organization.

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of Institutional Banking esp. Cash Management from project management, system design, implementation, or operations perspective.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects from initiation to implementation, preferably in Cash Management space.
• Ability to deal with multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Excellent team player and team builder.
• Degree in Banking, Computer Science or Engineering related field with more than 5 years of experience.
• Certifications related to Project Management (e.g. PMP, Certified Scrum Master) as well as domain-specific ones such as CertICM will be strong advantages.

Additional good skills to have:

• Experience with Agile development.
• Design thinking, experimentation, and A/B testing.
• Blockchain fundamentals and practical applications.
• Machine learning basics and practical applications.
