About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will oversee and assist in reconcilement of internal control accounts to ensure balances are accounted for, Front Office trades and Back Office accounting entries for Group and overseas entities.
  • You will independently perform investigation and assignment of breaks to Operations teams for resolution.
  • Ensure that all breaks are aged and exercise due diligence to highlight to management.
  • You will support and coordinates broker onboarding, brokerage fees reconciliation and payments.
  • You will proactively participate in various reconciliation projects i.e. process reviews and enhancements.
Job Requirements
  • Degree Holder
  • Possess a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in controls and reconciliation functions.
  • Preferably, you are control-oriented and possess an eye for detail.
  • Good knowledge of trade life cycle and events associated with various product classes i.e. securities, derivatives.
  • A team player, strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively, under pressure, in a rapid changing environment, as well as autonomously and as an effective member of a dynamic team.
  • Possesses good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven, meticulous and able to operate expeditiously to deliver results and meet tight timelines.
