This is leading bank with trading and lending activities. With a significant presence in Asia, the group has an extensive portfolio of customers, along with an impressive portfolio of assets and strategic partnerships. In line with business growth, there is now a Credit Review opportunity for a Credit Risk & Controls Manager to drive internal controls and Credit risk management matters.

Role

Reporting to the Head Of Credit, the Risk & Controls Manager will be responsible for analyzing and making recommendations on counterparty transactions proposals submitted by Business . Working closely with the business, the Manager will review internal controls, and recommend best practices to achieve the organizational goals of reinforcing the overall Group Credit Risk practice. More than just execution, the Risk & Controls Manager will proactively engage the stakeholders in developing and improving continuously existing risk frameworks. The ultimate aim is to enable the business make more effective decisions that are aligned and within the areas of accountability. Working in a high performing team, the Risk & Controls Manager will work hand-in-hand with immediate team members to deliver various initiatives, key risk indicator reporting with proposed recommendations for senior management.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a business discipline, with at least 10 years\' of Credit Risk experience gained in major banks. You will be described as an outstanding communicator, with the right amount of EQ to effect and influenced change. You will also be commercially astute, with the ability to seek harmony between risk management and achieving business objectives.
