Morgan McKinley is partnering with a global player within the financial services sector for a VP/Director, Marketing and Communications, APAC.

Job description:

• Conceptualize and execute regional marketing and communications plan to increase brand awareness in the APAC region. This includes participation in external events such as conferences, sponsorships and awards to enhance the Group\'s visibility in the marketplace.
• Ensure more visibility for the Group via awards participation and to manage nomination, drafting of submissions as well as publicity
• Garner speaking opportunities for senior leaders at seminars, conference and industry events for senior executives, as well as the preparation of content, presentation slides and talking points
• Work with stakeholders and vendors to manage, plan and implement events and sponsorship activities
• Support PR efforts such as media interviews, media releases, media queries etc
• Management of content on website, intranet and LinkedIn
• Support internal communications activities such as C-level communications
• Be a brand guardian and ensure consistent application of corporate brand identity across marketing materials and channels

Ideal candidate:

• Minimally 10 years\' experience in marketing and communications
• Integrated marketing experience with a focus on branding and awareness, corporate branding, events and sponsorship management (e.g., conferences, Awards), digital marketing, PR/media etc
• Great stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of the English language. Ability to communicate in Mandarin would be a bonus.
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in managing external agencies and vendors
