About the Department

UOB Private Bank is dedicated to managing the wealth of high-net-worth individuals with investment assets of $5 million and above. Keeping in mind our clients’ financial objectives, we provide tailored products and solutions that draw on the Group’s comprehensive suite of personal, business and investment services.

Job Responsibilities

• To represent the DPM team in sales and marketing efforts.
• Responsible to help raise the AUM of DPM. To work closely with bankers and internal teams in acquiring, retaining and pitching discretionary mandates. This may also involve coming out with workable bespoke solutions for clients whenever neccessary.
• Plays an active role to articulate DPM strategies to the front and end-clients.
• Provides client review services to existing clients.
• Plays an active role in developing and enhancing the mandate product shelf. Helps desk head with product developments and new launches to further drive AUM growth and DPM penetration rate.
• Candidate with relevant experience will also be tapped on for investment idea generations.
• Proactive with staying abreast of investment strategies and the rationale on various trades executed by the DPM portfolio managers.

Job Requirements

A. Personal and Social

• Communicates complex market views and ideas in a concise and convincing manner.
• Excellent communication + presentation skills in English and Mandarin
• Ability to be flexible and think out of the box to meet clients various investment needs.
• Independent and poractive with AUM gathering work.
• Excellent people skills, high-impact and confident presence with strong sales + negotiation skills, client-focused and performance-oriented team player.
  
• B. Professional and Technical
• 4 -10 years experience in a relevant sales or asset management role
• Previous working experience with UHNW clients a big plus.
• Preferably with strong multi-asset-class versatility and a broad and deep understanding of financial instruments + markets.
• Good working knowledge of derivatives, derivative strategies and their use in structured products (for leverage, optimization and risk management)
