VP Financial Planning Analysis

My client is a global fintech player in the financial services in Asia and is on an aggressive growth span in Asia. They are a company that sincerely values company culture and how they treat their employees.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will analyze financial, economic, and other pertinent data to provide actionable insights to senior management on business performance and opportunities. As a central position in the APAC region, the role is highly visible and will develop tools, enhance reporting capabilities, and support the decision makers in shaping the financial strategy of the region. Key business partner to the senior stakeholders in various functions and providing financial direction and insight to the region. Business case modelling and financial leadership for key projects. On time, complete and insightful month end reports. Analysis of FX impacts across the region. Provide support for the budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes. Lead initiatives to design, transform and innovate planning, reporting and analysis processes to remain as thought leaders. Presentations to senior management across the globe and with APAC

Requirements:

• 12 years of experience in Planning, Finance & Accounting within Financial Services, FinTech or a high growth start up.
• Ability to develop creative solutions to problems and work with the larger team.
• Demonstrated understanding of how Fintech operates differently from conventional financial organization.
• Strong Change management skills.
• Significant experience in a variety of commercial and controllership senior Finance roles in complex organizations.
• Strong people leader with ability to lead and grow teams of international talent.
• Strong business partner who can influence and effectively challenge C-suite stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration, consensus building, problem resolution and communication skills are a prerequisite.
• Nice to have Tableau/SQL/Python experience.
