Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

We are seeking for a highly experienced and talented Internet and Mobile Banking Development/Technical Lead to join our Digital Technology team based out of Singapore. As the lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and engineering activities related to our internet and mobile banking platforms/applications. Your focus will be on managing and guiding a team of developers and engineers, ensuring the success of project development and implementation, production stability, and continuous improvement of our digital banking solutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience leading digital development/engineering teams, with strong expertise in Micro Frontend, Micro Services, and Cloud Architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of developers/engineers, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives and meet committed timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UI/UX designers, and quality assurance, to define functional & technical requirements, and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Drive the development and implementation of internet and mobile banking applications, focusing on Micro Front-end primarily using React JS and Java Micro Services.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines throughout the development process.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality codebase and optimize performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance our internet and mobile banking platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs, working with the team to deliver effective solutions.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing, culture of high-quality standards, and continuous learning.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating technical expertise and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field with minimum of 10 years of experience in leading digital development/engineering team, preferable in the banking/financial services industry or leading technology companies.
  • Strong expertise in Micro Front-end architecture using JavaScript and popular JS frameworks such as React JS, including hands-on experience in developing scalable and responsive web applications.
  • Proficient in Java Micro Services development, including frameworks like Spring boot.
  • Solid understanding of internet and mobile banking concepts, technologies, and best practices.
  • Good experience in SQL/No SQL with databases such as MongoDB, MariaDB.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, PCF, OpenShift.
  • Familiar with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory.
  • Strong knowledge of security standards, risk management, and practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and interact with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
