Job Description
Job Purpose
The individual will join FX and Rates trading team in SMBC APAC division, and be resposible for market making and risk management in FX (EM) products.
Job Responsibilities
- To make a profit from managing SMBC clients\' transaction and hedge the position in interbank market
- To maximize SMBC clients\' FX Product transaction number and volume, and revenue for the team.
- To enhance the whole Treading Desk to provide professional service for SMBC\'s clients
- To comply with all SMBC rules and compliance requirements
- To collect market information and share them with SMBC colleagues
Job Requirements
- Good bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or Commerce
- 3 to 10+ years experience in FX (EM) as interbank trader
- Knowledge of FX spot, forward and options
- Knowledge of onshore markets and regulations in APAC region
- Knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Markets
- Good fundamental and technical market analytical skills
- Comfortable with data and model analysis
- Good team player with strong ethics
- Well read / interest in financial market
