Job Description
Our Client, a Leading Local Bank, is looking for a VP - Group Audit.
A leading local bank is looking to expand their methodology audit team\'s headcount with a VP - Group Audit. This team provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of internal control, risk management and governance processes. This role involves minimal travelling, and candidates directly from the Big 4 are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery high quality reports on a monthly and periodic basis to stakeholders.
- Develop the yearly audit plan and to ensure that the plan is completed on target
- Assist in the preparation of the Division\'s operating budget and cost allocation exercise
- Drive the development and refinement of the audit methodology, standards, polices and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain the professional development plan/training needs for the division.
- Plan and execute Quality Assurance program of Group Audit division
- Strong auditing knowledge/background and solid understanding of audit methodology/best practices as well as risk and controls framework for banking industry.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
- Hold a professional qualification (CPA/CA/CIA) and a bachelor degree.
- Candidates from consulting, regulator or second line functions looking to move into Internal Audit can be considered.
