About Our Client
Our client is a global investment management firm active in both public and private markets. They offer a comprehensive range of investment solutions catering to wholesale and institutional clients, including SWFs, GREs, banks, family offices, and wealth managers.
1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in the Asia region.
2. Identify and prospect potential institutional clients, including banks, family offices, wealth managers, and other relevant financial institutions.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target institutions, including investment committees, portfolio managers, and senior executives.
4. Understand the unique investment objectives and requirements of institutional clients and provide tailored investment solutions.
5. Effectively articulate the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of our investment products to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of the investment strategies and portfolio management processes.
6. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including portfolio management, product development, and marketing, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings, providing market insights and feedback to internal stakeholders.
8. Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand professional networks and promote our firm\'s brand.
9. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals, addressing client needs and concerns effectively.
10. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline management, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
1. Bachelor\'s degree in finance, economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
2. Proven track record of success in selling investment products or services to institutional clients in the financial industry.
3. Strong knowledge of asset management, mutual funds, alternative investments, and investment strategies.
4. Deep understanding of the Asian financial markets and regulatory landscape.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers.
6. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with institutional clients.
7. Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
8. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
