We are looking for a highly motivated and driven candidate to join us as a Head of Finance.
In this role, you will be responsible for taking ownership of Umitron\'s long-term financial plan, developing a good equity story for the company, and attracting potential investors. As we move towards a future company listing, you will also lead our global fundraising campaigns and manage the consolidated financial results of our Singapore and Japan offices.
Additionally, you will have broad visibility of all facets of the company across our various projects, which serves as a platform for many career development opportunities that will ultimately place you as a frontrunner for CFO.
This role will be based in Singapore and starting work remotely is also acceptable. Relocation support is also available if you move to Singapore. Candidates with prior experience leading overall IPO and raising funds from global investors will be highly regarded.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Enthusiasm for Umitron\xe2\x80\x99s mission
- At least one year of experience in one or more of the following (or in similar roles):
- Interacting and negotiating with global (not only Japan and Singapore) venture capital (VC) firms and
- Experience investing in startups, ESG and SDGs fields as a VC or institutional investor
- Experience in advisory work in the investment banking sector
- Basic knowledge and experience in research, strategic planning, and practical implementation, utilizing external experts in legal, tax, and accounting fields globally
- Strong desire to learn about these global financial strategies
- Motivated to work in a flat hierarchical structure of a start-up company with ownership over their work
- Basic knowledge of accounting and finance
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Business level English, written and spoken
- Ability to work in Singapore
- Experience working at a startup or VC company
- Experience in drafting the prospectus for an IPO at a startup company, audit firm, securities company or investment bank
- Experience with consolidated financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), SFRS, etc.
- Interest in corporate operations in general and business development, not just specific areas, and the ability to handle tasks with agility and flexibility
- Business level Japanese, written and spoken
