The unit is a market leader in SGD and regional products, supported by excellent, customer-driven research capabilities and cutting-edge risk management technology and systems.Responsibilities Lead and facilitate Risk Reviews with business stakeholders, highlighting key risk and control issues and trends. Design, implement, and conduct Quality Assurance Reviews on critical controls to ensure process effectiveness. Champion and cultivate a robust risk culture across Global Financial Markets (GFM). Provide operational risk oversight and support for all GFM locations. Develop, maintain, and effectively communicate operational risk documentation, including mandates, policies, standards, and process maps, within the unit. Ensure rigorous implementation and compliance with operational risk policies and standards, escalating significant issues to unit management as required. Drive the automation and digitalization of Risk Control monitoring and reporting processes. Collaborate with business and support units to enhance processes and systems, supporting product and business requirements in sales, trading, new product development, and operational risk areas. Initiate and implement improvements to front office processes to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.Requirements A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, preferably within a treasury environment. Comprehensive understanding of treasury products and the associated operational risks within the treasury landscape. Direct experience and knowledge of Global Markets businesses in areas such as Product Control, Middle Office Operations, and Risk is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to think strategically while also ensuring end-to-end execution.
