Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a Global Bank who is well known for their top tier Corporate and Investment Banking services.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic:
Support the division in meeting the expense budget.
Customer:
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both regionally and globally.
Partner with colleagues across the region to support the implementation of regional projects at a branch level.
Provide guidance on operations policies, procedures, and processes, particularly in the area of Trade Finance Operations.
Investigate incidents, conduct interviews, collect data, and contribute to recommendations to mitigate incidents in the future.
Collaborate with Product Offices and Operations departments to contribute to new product processes and workflows.
Work in partnership with Compliance and Legal for information sharing and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations that may impact the Bank\'s operations.
Other/Control:
Contribute to the development of project scope, deliverables, timelines, and project documentation.
Review project proposals to ensure alignment with policies and procedures.
Review the impact of changes to local regulations on workflow procedures and processes and make recommendations to ensure compliance.
Assess the accuracy and alignment of the branch\'s operations manual to workflow processes.
Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation.
Prepare or coordinate reports on project performance and recommend appropriate actions.
Maintain a good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws, and regulations.
Act as a subject matter expert to management on all operations policies and procedures.
Adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of experience in bank\'s Trade Finance Operations (Import/Export, Trade Loan, and Guarantees).
Experience in process mapping and streamlining, with understanding of the impact of compliance requirements on Trade products, as well as drive initiatives across the region.
Experience in stakeholder management to collaborate with overseas branches operations, product offices, compliance, and customer-ownership groups.
Good communication skills with the ability to influence others.
Good knowledge of (trade) systems will be an added advantage.
