Business Functions

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage a cross-functional and cross-border platform product delivery squads comprising design and technology teammates who would apply journey thinking and the 4D (Discover, Define, Design, Deliver) methodology and subsequently execute product delivery using the AGILE approach.
• Work with other product owners to manage the corporate banking platform and follow through on the execution of the strategic product roadmap and groom the product backlog. In so doing, anchor the credit architecture and continuously improve users' experience through continuous feedback driven enhancements.
• Lead journey and initiatives and work with other journey managers, platform managers and cross functional stakeholders to identify opportunities to provide digital tools on the platform to aid bankers in their analysis and/or implement solutions to drive process efficiencies across the end-to-end credit process.
• Develop holistic solutions roadmap, including determining the minimum viable product milestones (including change management plans) for new/enhanced product roll outs and taking them to fruition. This would involve the need to conduct value-driven prioritisation, impact analysis, dependencies assessments, work plan synchronisation within the platform team and/or with other project teams across the bank.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of working experience. Prior background in business accounting/finance related field or management consultancy will be a plus.
• Comprehensive understanding of banking businesses' processes and risk policies.
• Ability to think out-of-box, challenge status quo and problem-solve and make data driven decisions. Individual should be comfortable working with data, including accurately gather, organize and analyse it to drive decision-making.
• Good presentation and communication skills to be effective in the work required to manage stakeholders across all levels and propose strategic plans. The ability to visualise and communicate using visualisation will be extremely useful skill to have on the job.
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead and work collaboratively in a think tank environment comprising cross-functional teammates of different subject matter.
• Ability to work in a high pressure and tight timeline environment.
