We manage the risks arising from the Group\'s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profileJob ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be part of the Group Credit Policy & Governance (CPG) team which provides independent oversight of Personal Financial Services (PFS) Loans Portfolio for UOB Group. Reporting to the Regional Policy & Strategic Support Lead, the candidate will be responsible to support the maintenance of the Group Retail Credit Policy and Process Standards (GRCPPS), ensure regional countries are operating within Group PFS frameworks and Risk Appetite, review of credit policies and changes and oversees portfolio quality for Regional Countries. The candidate will also undertake strategic projects as part of overall Group Retail Credit and Group CPG collective agenda.Role Description:To support the smooth migration of Citi portfolio into UOB under CPG sub-stream, liaise and work with other sub-streams within overall Retail Credit workstream and relevant stakeholders to ensure successful integration process.To develop, review Group Policy Standard, Frameworks/ Guidelines and maintain them over time to ensure that PFS Loans portfolios operate within the desired appetite.To work closely and liaise with countries CPG function and to support the approval process of Portfolio Review Document (PRD), credit test proposal, credit policy changes and other initiatives.Responsible for tracking of consolidated RRA and RDF metrics and Credit KPIs across regional countriesPerform monitoring of regional countries portfolio and highlight the key and emerging risks to ensure that sound portfolio quality is maintained.To support the portfolio review reporting and preparation for Quarterly Credit Review of Retail Portfolio with Senior Management and Group Credit Committee.To support standardization of MIS pack across the countries and enhance it over time as part of portfolio management and strategy.To undertake ad hoc projects as part of Group CPG Collective AgendaTo involve in the development, review, implement and monitor the use of scorecards (including strategy), credit bureau usage & strategy and other risk management tools/systems to ensure that newly acquired customers are of acceptable quality.Job RequirementsAt least 10 years of working experience in a retail banking role preferably in a credit risk policy, MIS and portfolio management capacity.Degree holder with background in Mathematics, Statistics, Business and Finance preferred.Familiar with portfolio monitoring and segmentation tools and strategyExposure to Basel Capital Rules, credit scorecards (including the development steps and best practices) and analytics techniquesProficient in Excel, Powerpoint, SAS Programming, Enterprise Guide, Decision Tree tools and SQL database.Past experience with system UAT and data management designs.Experience in a Group regional role with knowledge of country business and regulatory landscape will be an advantage.Analytical mind with sound business acumen, highly meticulous and self-motivated.
