About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

This is a Team Lead and people manager role reporting to the Head, GTO Strategic Sourcing & Procurement.

The role is responsible for leading a team of 4 resources to support the end-to-end process for fulfilment of technology contingent workforce from requisition to sourcing and contract renewals. This includes performance management of the contingent workforce suppliers.

The broad area of job responsibilities will require the Team Lead to guide and support the team in the following:

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand their resourcing requirements and fulfil the request effectively and efficiently within the turnaround time
  • Actively track and follow up on the status from request to fulfilment and contract renewals in a timely manner
  • Source for the right resource pool of capabilities that meets cost and requirements from the panel of contingent workforce suppliers
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and review their performance on resource management performance metrics such as turnaround to present profiles, fulfilment turnaround time, candidate quality and attrition rate
  • Review and facilitate the temporary resource contracts for signing and Purchase Requisition (PR) process
  • Address and resolve temporary resource-related issues, escalation and inform management as necessary for resource requirements
  • Identify and continuously improve resource fulfilment processes
  • Support data analysis and reporting on supplier\'s performance and any other requirement as required
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in people leadership experience in a leadership and sourcing of contingent workforce or recruitment in similar capacity/role
  • Possess proactive attitude and willingness to adapt to changes
  • Able to work independently in a fast pace working environment
  • Highly collaborative and able to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of a variety of audiences and personalities to guide and challenge constructively.
  • Strong communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills to positively influence people to make the appropriate decisions and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Performance-driven balanced with proven success of working effectively in a cross-functional team in an international environment.
  • Process-oriented and possesses a strategic mind-set with the ability to have a holistic view.
  • Ability to deliver and articulate a presentation confidently and effectively.
  • Experience in formulating KPIs and reporting performance metrics.
  • Experience in IT technology services and or financial services industry will be an added advantage
