About the Department
The Risk & Assurance team proactively oversees and manages operational risks within Group Channels & Digitalisation, and provides guidance and advisory on matters relating to business and regulatory compliance. The department partners with Group Risk Management, Group Compliance, Group Audit and Group Legal to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal group policies & guidelines.

Job Responsibilities
As a member of the Risk & Assurance team in Group Channels & Digitalisation, you will play an important role in exercising oversight over related channel activities, with a focus on designing and implementing effective controls and providing risk advisory to internal stakeholders. You will be expected to drive initiatives across Group Channels & Digitalisation to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidelines and to conduct reviews and testing for ongoing regulatory assurance. Familiarity with the use of data analytics to anticipate, identify and manage risks will be required.

• Drive initiatives to nurture and promote a robust and effective risk culture
• Support and develop reporting for key risk indicators and other metrics to monitor risks across branches and other channel platforms
• Provide risk advisory and support for branches, initiatives and projects
• Conduct quality assurance testing and thematic reviews
• Coordinate incident management from investigation, to root cause analysis and corrective actions

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in a risk or governance function
• Able to balance business needs, customer experience and risk management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Mature, responsible, and highly driven
• Able to work independently and in a team
