About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing Research and Analysis is responsible for conducting competitive product and pricing research, analysis, and monitoring of market trends, and assisting in product line positioning and new product development for Industrial. The Research / Business Intelligence focus specializes in conducting and/or commissioning original research. To expand role into client pitching as well.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in technical subjects - Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Chemistry or any other concentration relevant to the assigned Sector/Sub-Sectors.
• At least 8 years\' banking experience covering the Sector in a similar role, or in Corporate / Commercial Banking or Project Finance in Asia with substantive focus in the Sector/Sub-Sectors
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Industry-specific experience for the assigned Sector/Sub-Sector would be an advantage
