About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with other support team(s), ensuring the respective teams provide proactive, timely, effective and efficient support to users
  • Participate in the support activities, and owns all issues and projects
  • Ensure the team(s) adopt any operational workflow and processes, i.e. timely ticket, defect and incident loggings, proper change management process, and quality issue/impact emails
  • Ensure control disciplines are followed within the team(s), e.g. change standards and release processes
  • Ensure all issues are proactively managed - escalate issues as appropriate to necessary teams and management
  • Analyze, identify the root cause, and route issues to proper teams and resolve issues and resolution to closure
  • Participate and collaborate with the development team(s) in requirements gathering, clarification, and analyze impacts on issue or users requirements.
  • Participate in any BCM activities or infrastructure related upgrade
Job Requirements
  • Degree in computer science/engineering or related disciplines
  • Min 8 years of hands on application support experience in the banking industry and 3 - 5 years in supporting Finance & Regulatory Reporting Applications example - RiskAuthority, OneSumX, Hyperion, OFSA.
  • Good understanding of Finance systems in related to Regulatory Reporting, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Basel Solution.
  • Individual must have working experience in RiskAuthority, OneSumX, Hyperion EPM suite (Essbase, Planning, Financial Management) on Unix/Windows platforms
  • Understanding of front to back operations, finance, risk and accounting will be added advantage
  • Independent, proactive and self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and good problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
