Business Function
Group Strategic Marketing & Communications (GSMC) is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications, marketing and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.
Responsibilities

• Perform monthly accrual and actuals reporting
• Support Strategic Cost Management (SCM) initiatives
• Perform General Ledger Accounting Operations (GLAO) reporting.
• Manage regional GSMC financials and support budget management exercise
• Partner with Group Audit to perform audit exercises for the department
• Support joyful employee journey for department. This includes working with HR and Transformation team to organize trainings, track employees feedback and developing follow-up initiatives
• Partner with Group BCM to perform BCP related activities and reporting
• Partner with Group RMG to manage department risk and perform risk management related activities & reporting
• Support in the planning and execution of department activities to encourage strong team culture
• Support all ad-hoc matters in the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance or a related discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant banking experience preferred
• Experience in management reporting a must.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
• Experience in performing Risk related and Business Continuity Management tasks will be a plus
