About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralizing and standardizing technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

We require a hands-on engineer with strong technical expertise and extensive experience with on-premise infrastructure and cloud-based platforms.

• Knowledge and experience in the following:
• VMware vSphere and NSX/NSX-T.
• SAN storage and backup.
• Operating Systems such as Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Unix.
• Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Chef and Ansible.
• Good understanding of container and container orchestration technology.
• Cloud such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Experience in integrating with 3rd party service platforms.

Job Requirements

To be considered you will have:

• Degree in Computer Science related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in server/system administration, troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis.
• At least 5 years experience with engineering, building, configuring and deployment of infrastructure solutions (on-premises, private cloud and public cloud).
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring and managing VMware vSphere environments.
• Creative and innovative thinking.
• Problem solving and decision making.
