About the Department
The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

Group Finance
We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.

Job Responsibilities
As part of the Private Bank Business Planning and Performance Management team, you will play a support role as a Database Analyst in the Analytics team in the areas of revenue tracking, calculation of commission, report generation and MIS requests for the front office.

• Maker of Income Database (Department's main database source). Consolidating data from various sources, massage data and update database on a weekly basis.
• Responsible for reporting, tracking and communication with Front Office regarding clients financials and banker's performance and productivity on weekly basis
• Ensuring Integrity of data and recon with various sources including blotters and Odyssey Systems
• Rolling Weekly Projection of Income / Responsible in preparing bankers' bonus accrual inclusive forecast element on monthly basis
• Responsible in tabulating bankers' compensations at the end of the year.
• Subject matter expert on database records. Attend to front office enquiries on trade records, revenue data and compensation matters.
• Produce presentation slides for management meeting.

Job Requirements

• Recognized university degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or its equivalent professional certificates

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data analysis with Microsoft Excel

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to create complex formula in Excel and write macro in VBA is essential.

• Proficient in programming is preferred.

• Relevant working experience in banking industry is a plus

• Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities

• Proactive, logical, s trong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
