Business FunctionCorporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans, foreign exchange amongst others. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.Product Lead will be part of the lending portfolio covering Midcaps corporates and SME across all DBS locations. This role will develop product strategies and work closely with various stakeholders across the region to understand & tailor our offering to differentiate and gain a competitive advantage in the markets we operate.Responsibilities

  • Develop & execute on product strategies to deliver on our ability to serve our customer base across markets.
  • Shape up and implement a clear product distribution model leveraging various channels including digital, coverage teams and other touch points with our customers.
  • Manage the product P&L to maximise opportunities to grow revenue, lower cost to serve & manage risk effectively.
  • Drive innovation & H3 ideas that can help leapfrog market to gain significant competitive advantage.
  • Identify market changes, emerging trends, competitor landscape and customer\xe2\x80\x99s need to continuously refine our product proposition to gain competitive advantage for each of the markets.
  • Develop keen understanding of the in-country regulatory framework, suitability, credit risk and compliance requirements.
  • Work with key stakeholders, including Credit and Country teams to co-develop product offerings and provide support for in-country strategies.
  • Work closely with internal and/or external stakeholders across functions and teams to drive regional projects in product innovations and campaigns to deliver joint outcomes.
  • Communicate and generate support for recommendations among internal stakeholders and Senior Management across the organization.
  • Track, monitor and analyse key product metrics across the region, and come up with ideas and ways to continuously refine product offerings.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product management or other related functions, preferably with 10- 15 years of relevant working experience in a fast-paced role with direct business impact.
  • Strong leadership skills, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, strong understanding of credit principles and have execution focus.
  • Meticulous, positive, and optimistic; comfortable with ambiguity and highly adaptable to change.
  • Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability and interest in the new digital economies.
  • Strong sense of commitment and accountability, possess a business focus mindset, and is comfortable in challenging the norms, open to new ideas and self-motivated to deliver work of the highest standard.
  • Candidate should be passionate about the customer experience and should be able to conceptualize and execute strategic initiatives independently in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Candidate should possess strong influencing and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mind-set and will need to manage both external and internal stakeholders.
