Overview of Division/Department

FI team of Asia-Pacific Corporate Banking Department is one of the regional marketing teams responsible for business
promotion toward Financial Institutions (FI) and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) segments in Sin gapore and other Asia-Pacific countries (excluding Japan) together with local branches.

Job Responsibilities

• Singapore-based coverage banker to originate and manage business activities with Private equity fund/Financial sponsors in Singapore and other Asia-Pacific countries (excluding Japan).
• Provide effective support to the Head of Financial Institutions, with direct responsibility for Private equity fund/Financial sponsors business in the region.
• Lead in the preparation and delivery of high quality pitch books with integrated banking solutions.
• Conduct sector analysis of Private equity fund/Financial Sponsors segments and identify business opportunities from prospective clients through in-depth understanding of key clients and industries.
• Build and develop new relationship with Private equity fund/Financial Sponsors in Singapore and other Asia-Pacific countries together with branch RMs.
• Originate new business deals and drive revenue growth via cross-sell of several products (e.g., transaction banking fund financing solutions, global markets, DCM and ECM) through collaboration with internal product partners in the bank and Mizuho\'s group companies, including Mizuho Securities.
• Build robust relationship with Private equity fund/Financial sponsors, & clients to establish an eco-system of originate-to-distribute through partnering with several stakeholders.

• A Bachelor degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent in the similar field.
• Minimum 6 years in managing clients of Private equity fund/Financial Sponsors segments in Singapore and/or other regional countries at global banks.
• Minimum 12 years of overall working experiences.
• Strong knowledge of financial services solutions utilized by Private equity fund/Financial sponsors.
• Good relationship management and people engagement skills
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills (spoken and written), self-motivated and able to multi-task to manage timelines.
• Team player spirit, and a passion to develop and expand business including client base.
