Walk In Interview- Mentor, Student Care Centre (Immediate Vacancies!!!) Date of Interview : 11 February 2023, Saturday Venue of Interview : YMCA Student Care Centre @ Punggol Waterway - Blk 308B Punggol Walk #01-388 S(822308) Time of Interview : 10am to 4pm Role Description: You will be involved with teaching and developing children in academic, social, personal hygiene, music, art and motor skills to promote students\xe2\x80\x99 physical, mental and social development. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Involved with classroom management, maintain order in classroom and on playground.
• Assist students with activities to stimulate students\xe2\x80\x99 interest and broaden the understanding of their physical and social environment.
• Assist with preparation of lesson materials.
• Supervise students with their homework.
• Assist to implement creative ideas, activities, and stimulating lessons to involve the students in the classroom.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the students.
• Maintain an appropriate atmosphere of safety, learning, and fun, in line with YMCA\xe2\x80\x99s philosophy.

Requirements:

• Minimum N/ O Level, NITEC or its equivalent.
• Student care / tutoring experience is advantageous.
• Patient and passionate about teaching children
• Friendly and cheerful with good interpersonal skills and organization skills.
• Candidates with higher education level and working experience will be considered for Senior Teacher, position.
• Working Locations: Near MRT stations across Singapore
