Job Description

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
At least 2Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
Has basic knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP system
Must have average leadership and organizational skills
Must be willing to work in Tingub, Mandaue City
Work Summary:
Responsible for managing and coordinating all activities in the warehouse and logistics department while ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee various RM and FG inventory items to determine what is being used or sold and which ones need to be re-ordered
Coordinates and controls the order cycle and associated information system
Ensures that all goods at the warehouse are kept in good condition
Initiates request for the purchase of local raw materials and advises SBU head for purchase requirements of imported materials
Provides inputs in the production planning and inventory control system
Ensures proper management of booking and delivery commitment, delivery lead time, transport costs, and efficiency
Oversees selection of carriers and trucking vendors and the negotiation of contracts and rates
Monitor and analyze delivery efficiency (turnaround time) and implement improvement to ensure timeliness of delivery and availability of delivery trucks
Analyzes the financial impact of proposed logistic changes such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes/mixes, and carriers
Performs overall review of logistics processes and controls and ensures the effective implementation of process improvements
Ensures timely closure and resolution of issues and concerns of logistic operations.
