Role Description

The Warehouse Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is accurately managed, organized, and distributed. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling various warehouse functions, including stock handling, order preparation, and inventory control.

Work days (important):

Monday to Friday

Hours: 9AM to 6PM

The ideal candidate must be willing to work weekends if necessary (will be compensated with off days).

Key Responsibilities

Packing and Shipping:

Pack and prepare items for shipment in a timely and organized manner. Ensure all packages are properly sealed, labeled, and ready for dispatch.

Inventory Management:

Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring products match purchase orders. Unbox, label, and shelve products in an organized manner for easy access.

Stock Counting and Inventory Audits:

Perform regular stock counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. Assist with monthly or periodic inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.

Retail Support:

Support retail staff by transporting products to the retail area or assisting customers as needed. Ensure the retail floor has an adequate supply of products and assist in replenishment.

Label Printing and Documentation:

Print and attach accurate shipping and inventory labels. Maintain organized records of product receipts, stock levels, and shipments.

Weighting and Measuring Items:

Accurately weigh and measure products for packaging or shipping purposes. Ensure that items are properly sized to meet logistics and shipping requirements.

Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse at all times. Ensure that all products are stored in the correct areas to maximize space and minimize damage. * Warehousing and packing experience will be preferred. Any other duties as required from time to time.
