Job Description
The Warehouse Assistant supports daily logistics operations at the distribution centre, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe handling of goods. The role is responsible for receiving, put-away, picking (when required), staging, and despatching of inventory in accordance with Warehouse SOPs. The Warehouse Assistant also operates material-handling equipment such as forklift and reach truck to support efficient warehouse flow.
Key Responsibilities
Perform receiving, checking, sorting, and put-away of incoming goods. When required, conduct order picking, packing, staging, and loading activities according to outbound schedules. Operate forklift and reach truck safely and efficiently to support warehouse movement of pallets. Perform stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory checks to ensure accuracy. Adhere to warehouse operating procedures, housekeeping standards, and safety regulations. Support cold-chain storage operations, including handling temperature-sensitive goods and maintaining product integrity. Assist in any ad-hoc duties within the warehouse as assigned by supervisors. #SKILLS
