Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toManager WarehousingYour role and responsibilitiesThe job of WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT is responsible for the purpose/s of carry out general warehouse duties as directed by warehouse supervisor or coordinator. To be aware of, and follow warehouse work and safety procedures. To work as part of the warehouse team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor inventory levels as materials, equipment and stock are receipt, issued, transferred within an establishment using manual or computerized inventory system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare requisition orders to replenish packaging, equipment, and consumable Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Receives and verifies accuracy of incoming shipments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Marks materials with identifying information. \xe2\x80\xa2 Receives and verifies accuracy of incoming shipments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Pulls and distributes materials, tools, or other stock items \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepares merchandise for shipment, as required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicate any order changes to warehouse supervisor \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist Operations Delivery with delivery of cargo. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee truck loading operations to ensure all policies, and procedures are followed accordingly. \xe2\x80\xa2 To load and unload lorries / To follow safety guidelines. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure accuracy in all picking and issuing delivery quantities \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist in other duties as requested by warehouse supervisorQualifications for the role

• ITE qualifications courses related to SCM, Warehouse and Logistics preferred,
• Minimum O level qualification
• Proficient in Microsoft Window, SAP knowledge advantageous or ERP system
