Warehouse Assistant, Up to $2200, Northeast (LKH)

Our client is an American Fortune 500 company and global supplier of paints, coatings, and specialty materials. Currently they are sourcing for a Warehouse Assistant to support a wide variety of tasks in the warehouse function.

Working Hours : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Working location : Seletar Aerospace Avenue

Responsibility:

• To assist Warehouse Supervisor in Receiving, Production Support, Shipping & Inventory Management
• Receiving \xe2\x80\x93 unloading, inspecting, receiving, sampling and locating all ingredients, packing and finished product that arrives at the plant
• Production support \xe2\x80\x93 ensuring continuous supply of ingredients and packaging to production and filling lines. Support shipping and receiving
• Shipping \xe2\x80\x93 inspecting, counting and loading outbound shipments, completing all paperwork, preparing shipment samples, bracing loads
• Inventory management \xe2\x80\x93 perform cycle counts, complete reconciliations, monitor inventory transactions, continually sort out inventory issues as they arise
• Proper documentation/filing & goods receiving of delivered items to warehouse in the online system (QAD, HMM)
• Maintain good housekeeping in warehouse area using Lean system (eg. 5S, FIFO, RCA)
• Strict compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements pertaining to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC with minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, freight forwarding and logistics in the Chemicals industry, Aerospace background preferred.
• Preferably with a valid forklift license
• Good interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to work well with all levels
• Able to work under minimal supervision, possesses initiative and willing to learn attitude
• Fast learner and has a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
• Basic PC knowledge skills is a must
