Job Description


Main Objective:

Perform day-to-day warehouse related tasks such as receiving, sampling, staging, storing, issuing, shipping, cycle counting, pack-out operation and documents processing related to materials movements. Other key objectives are to manage consignment products and carry out daily logistics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

  • Receive incoming materials. Verify incoming materials against the delivery note/document. Stage materials received neatly and transfer to storage locations. Route documents for the materials received to the appropriate departments for further processing. Record and report any variance versus the
    delivery note/document.
  • Assemble and stage materials per order pick list and issue the materials to the appropriate location. Accurately document all transactions. Input transaction data into SAP and file the documents accordingly.
  • Perform pack-out activities and observe the cleanliness requirements in the pack-out work area. Perform sanitation and cleaning of pack-out rooms and isolators. Record and document the operating temperature and relative humidity of the work area, if required. Accurately document the pack-out transactions. Input transaction data into SAP and file the documents accordingly.
  • Assemble and stage materials per the delivery packing list and hand-over the goods to designate logistic or transportation agent. Accurately complete delivery document in accordance with instructions. Input transaction data into SAP and file the documents accordingly.
  • Handle all materials in accordance to safety, health and environmental procedures with special attention to the handling of heavy equipment and store materials in accordance to its controlled storage requirements.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts as required and record the variances in accordance to operating procedures.
  • Assign suitable stock area to new product.
  • Adjust most efficient product stock area according to long and short term product profile change.
  • Carry out the completed cycle stocktaking once every 3 months and when serious deviation was observed, to make corrective action to prevent recurrence.
Loaner
  • Receive and check all returned loaner (instrument, implant and consumable set) at the receiving staging area for inspection before returning the loaner to its assigned location
  • Manage loaners to ensure timely return and maintenance of equipment
  • Track loaner sets and replace with a longer shelf-life when products are soon to be expired
  • Work closely with Customer Service Team to confirm the used items from returned loaner
  • Transact in system for any replenishment or replacement of missing or damaged items in the loaner set

Education and Experience:
  • High school
  • Knowledge of GDPMDS preferred
  • Experience of medical device loaner set handling
  • Experience in managing 3PL

Knowledge, Skill and General Requirements:
  • Knowledge about medical device logistics flow preferred
  • Excellent team player
  • Highly customer orientated
  • Organization skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Must be able to work after office hours and weekends when needed
  • Good attention to detail
  • Meticulous when checking of loaner set
  • Good English communication skill – verbal and written
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders – Sales, Customer Service, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Medical Education
  • Problem solving skill
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Proficient PC skills (Excel and SAP)

Reasoning Ability:

Good verbal and written English language.

The position maintains ongoing relationships with the Orthopedists, Arthrex customers, Arthrex Customer Services and hospital staff in order to support/perform duties in this position. It is required the ability to obtain cooperation and convey accurate information in a timely manner.
