Job Description

About the position:The Warehouse Operative\'s role is to facilitate and ensure that all inbound and outbound shipment is safely and accurately unloaded, received, checked, wrapped and put-away and execute all other tasks relating to warehouse operation in accordance with operational and health and safety procedures. Able to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and tidy manner. Possessing a comprehensive understanding of material / stock management techniques and inventory control methods and procedures.Roles & Responsibilities:Retrieve cartons from staging areaSort the cartons according destination and routesMatch the cartons according to the Shipment ID report from CSConsolidate the cartons and form a palletCreate a Pallet HU and scan the Carton IDs into the Pallet HUScan Pallet HUs formed into the Shipment ID as provided by CSWrap pallet and move to Outbound Staging LanesScan the Shipment ID/Pallet HU to the Outbound Staging Lane numberCheck against shipping documents with Drivers/forwarders when loading for local/overseas shipment respectivelyReceive and check cargoes against inbound documentsPhysical check and count received itemsPerform visual inspection of products receivedSorting of mixed SKUsEscalate for any discrepancies and damagesPerform PGR transactionTransfer received pallets to PND stationsMaintain proper housekeeping of inbound sorting and staging areasComply to in-house safety and security rules; and always Ensure proper housekeepingMaking sure that workplace safety rules & DSV Policy are being followedPerform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors/superiors in support of operations when necessaryTo be successful in this role you will require the following:Demonstrated warehousing experienceDemonstrated supply chain management experienceExcellent written and oral communications skillsStrong problem solvingPerform and maintain an effective team environmentAble to follow, perform and maintain a good and positive performance in both housekeeping and safety related task assign by the managementopen/closeJob area: Terminal/Warehouse/TransportWarehouse OperatorSingapore
