About the position:
The Warehouse cum Forklift Operative's role is to facilitate and ensure that all inbound and outbound shipment is safely and accurately unloaded, received, checked, wrapped and put-away and execute all other tasks relating to warehouse operation in accordance with operational and health and safety procedures. Able to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and tidy manner. Possessing a comprehensive understanding of material / stock management techniques and inventory control methods and procedures.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Retrieve cartons from staging area, sort the cartons according destination and routes
• Match the cartons according to the Shipment ID report from CS
• Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
• Create a Pallet HU and scan the Carton IDs into the Pallet HU
• Scan Pallet HUs formed into the Shipment ID as provided by CS
• Wrap pallet and move to Outbound Staging Lanes
• Scan the Shipment ID/Pallet HU to the Outbound Staging Lane number
• Check against shipping documents with Drivers/forwarders when loading for local/overseas shipment respectively
• Receive and check cargoes against inbound documents
• Physical check and count received items
• Perform visual inspection of products received and sorting of mixed SKUs
• Escalate for any discrepancies and damages
• Perform PGR transaction and Pallet wrapping
• Transfer received pallets to PND stations
• Maintain proper housekeeping of inbound sorting and staging areas
• Ensure proper housekeeping
• Comply and making sure that DSV Policies, workplace safety, and security rules are being followed
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors/superiors in support of operations when necessary

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

• Demonstrated warehousing experience
• Demonstrated supply chain management experience
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Strong problem solving
• Perform and maintain an effective team environment
• Able to follow, perform and maintain a good and positive performance in both housekeeping and safety related task assign by the management
