Job Responsibility

• Lead the warehouse operations team and report to the Operations Manager
• Ensure safety measures, housekeeping and proper equipment handling are implemented and followed by all staff.
• Ensure MHE is maintained regularly.
• Ensure that warehouse personnel are trained and familiar with overall processes as per SOPs
• Plan manpower and overtime requirements in order to meet all KPIs
• Ensure that all inbound and outbound shipments are properly and timely processed and co-ordinate with Customer service.
• Ensure goods are properly palletized and following packing specification.
• Taking pictures of container stuffing / unstuffing. Damaged Goods handling.
• Ensure timely release for delivery or self-collection.
• Ensure location and stock accuracy through ongoing cycle counts.
• Improve space utilization through optimization.
• Suggest process improvements to improve productivity and decrease lead time.
• Active participation in periodical reviews such as monthly cycle count review and preparation of monthly business reviews with clients.
• Actively support the staff during peak operation times.
• Ad hoc task assigned.
• Ensure daily housekeeping 5s is conduct in warehouse operations
• Conduct HSE safety inspection on routine

Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics or equivalent preferred
• 3 years previous warehouse experience in a similar post in a 3PL environment.
• Forklift certificate required.
• Good command of English both written and spoken.
• Dangerous Goods handling certificate an advantage
• Committed, able to work extended hours if required
• Customer oriented and ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
• Good working knowledge of MS Office to prepare reports.
• Knowledge in WMS (JDA) and R/F scanner is an advantage.
• Knowledge in licensed and Bonded warehousing is an advantage
