Job Description



Your field of responsibility
As a part of role, your responsibility includes:

  • Seek to keep track of and manage the knowledge base in Wealth Management related regulatory requirements, support formulation and implementation of policy and procedure, manage related regulatory inquiries and examinations as required
  • Facilitate the awareness and syndication of regulatory risk through engagement with multiple business partners across compliance, legal and COO functions
  • Seek to assist with the execution of compliance risk assessments and mapping of regulations
  • Monitor and maintain a knowledge base of Wealth Management related regulations and compliance knowhow as well as supporting the formulation and implementation of policy
  • Continually assess regulatory risk, potential compliance issues relating to the Wealth Management regulatory compliance related matters, and raise material items to compliance management
  • Participate in relevant working groups, where required
  • As part of a broader team, you will develop scalable compliance processes using technology to drive efficiency and risk related outcomes
  • Backup other team members and provide support to the team if required

Your skills and experience
The opportunity to provide broad ranging compliance input in relation to Wealth Management regulatory compliance related matters. To excel in this role, you should possess below:
  • A university degree holder or higher is essential
  • 2-4 years’ of proven work experience in the financial or professional services industry, preferably in Wealth Management industry
  • A positive can-do attitude, ability to deliver high quality and accurate outputs, and the ability to learn
  • Experience in compliance and/or a professional background (legal, risk, audit, consulting) or with regulatory bodies would be a significant advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, have a collaborative mind-set and able to work effectively within a team
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
