J.P. Morgan Asset and Wealth Management, with client assets of $2.8 trillion, is a global leader in investment and wealth management. The Credit Platform Services Team is part of the Wealth Management Credit Operations group. This team monitors J.P. Morgan Wealth Management exposures (including loans, mortgages, and derivatives) secured by financial assets, such as equities, fixed income products and other asset types. The functions performed by this team are critical to protecting the bank from potential credit losses.

Job responsibilities:

• Support the underwriting team for setting up of new /renewal credit facilities in accordance to the Credit and Risk policies of the Private Bank.
• Handling of credit documentations which includes preparation and liasing with internal legal on documentation drafting, signature verification, scanning and filing.
• Exception handling for Credit facilities extended to Asia Private Banking clients.
• Provide support to all internal stakeholders (Lending Advisors, Credit Executives, Lenders and ITM) for adhoc queries relating to Credit Documents, collateral and limit management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, credit policies and guidelines.
• Participate in implementation of new technology via UAT testing and parallel testing.
• Review and update reporting metrics & KPIs regularly and provide feedback based on the metrics for requisite actions for team members

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
• At least 1 or more years of relevant work experience in a credit middle office or control function, or other work experience in private banking
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and understanding of risk measures
• Ability to adapt in a fast paced, dynamic and changing team environment is essential
• Confident and outgoing personality, able to deal directly with the senior stake-holders
• Strong solution based problem solving and analytical skills, able to add value rather than just accept the status quo
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Knowledge of automation tools like Alteryx, UiPath, Signavio, Python a plus
• Knowledge of our current regulatory landscape an advantage
