Insurers are paying out record amounts for weather-related losses, crop yields are more unpredictable, and the shift to renewables is tying energy markets to the vagaries of sunshine and wind.As part of our global energy and commodities team, you will serve a broad swathe of Bloomberg clients: from spot news stories on short-term weather patterns to diving into long-term meteorological trends.We are open to candidates with a range of backgrounds, but want scientifically literate people able to explain complex ideas clearly in a variety of formats. A background in financial journalism would be a bonus.You will be part of a global network of weather reporters and will work closely with the Green climate team.
