:

• The primary objective of this role is to develop and maintain e-commerce websites for brands that we manage so that they provide the best user experience to our customers.
• This position offers the candidate the opportunity to become involved in managing a broad mix of web properties with widely differing functionality which is influenced by the nature of the brands/products and their targeted demographic. Consequently, the candidate will be able to work with our digital marketing team on diverse marketing campaigns that lead consumers to visit these web properties.
• The Web Development & Digital Marketing Executive reports to the Marketing Communications Manager.
• The successful candidate will work in a close-knit and well-rounded digital marketing/ecommerce team of 8 members.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop/design e-commerce websites on Shopify, testing and implementation of any additional applications to enhance the user experience.
• Continued maintenance to improve site functionality and mobile responsiveness for better site performance.
• Review of our sites\xe2\x80\x99 SEO rankings, site speeds and overall site performance, with suggested improvements.
• Digital Marketing of brand(s) assigned. Handling of social media, digital advertising, e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, YouTube, Linkedin, TikTok and EDMs etc
• Design & visual creation of brands\xe2\x80\x99 educational posts and monthly promotions.
• Ensure data protection compliance and implement safeguards around processing customer data.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of work experience in a building websites on Shopify and/or digital marketing.
• Required skills: Basic HTML & CSS.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Shopify platform.
• Proficient in design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator is preferred.
• Good communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and convey them to internal stakeholders.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work independently whilst managing deadlines.
